When Asetek Simsports set out to develop their range of direct drive wheelbases, they wanted to create the best sim racing wheelbases on the market, measured across all parameters, but without going over budget. They had bigger ambitions than simply reselling a standard industry servo motor and then trying to fit everything else around it. It was a challenging task, but just like with their award-winning pedals and steering wheel, we started from scratch. 

Asetek Simsports acquired and implemented IP from leading vendors in the market and partnered with Mige, a well-known engine provider for sim racing. After years of developing electronics, software, firmware, mechanics, collaboration, design, testing and validation from the ground up, we are now ready to introduce the Invicta™ 27Nm, Forte® 18Nm and the upgradeable La Prima™ wheelbase with 12Nm. 

As with their other products, with Asetek SimSports® you will experience the credibility and spirit of our brand, where you get the same quality, durability, technical excellence and most importantly, the same user experience, whether you buy their entry-level La Prima™ series or their top-tier Invicta™ products. All wheelbases from 12-27 Nm have a high-end 22-bit encoder, slip ring and electronics, providing an unparalleled driving experience and leaving slip and lag a thing of the past. All vital parts are of course made of aluminum and steel. 

All Asetek SimSports® wheelbases provide smooth, super-responsive and precise feedback to the driver, where you will be able to feel even the smallest bumps and edges on the road. For example, each of their wheelbases has a resolution of 0.000085 degrees or approximately 4,000,000 steps in just one revolution of the steering wheel! In other words, with an Asetek SimSports® wheelbase, you don't have to choose between a truly high-fidelity driving experience and a low price. You can have it all! 

Since all wheelbases are designed from the ground up, they have been able to develop an extremely compact and flexible form factor that can be adapted to any setup and need. The wheelbase acts as the central hub of your simulator, where you can connect your Asetek SimSports® pedals, steering wheel and future accessories with up to 5 USB-S ports on the rear. 

In the simplest mounting form (factory standard), the bases come with T-nuts pre-installed in the bottom tracks, allowing the motor to slide back and forth in your setup without installing long and expensive steering wheel spacers that can ultimately compromise the longevity and reliability of your wheelbase. We have developed mounting options for all types of wheelbases to suit any setup - from a table clamp and bottom mount to side and front mount with our integrated solutions. 

Many sim racers love to experiment and show off their amazing setups. That’s why Asetek Simsports has added up to six fully customizable aRGB LED strips so you can match your wheelbase to the rest of your Asetek SimSports® gear, your team colors, or even the color of your fireproof racing underwear! Everything can be controlled centrally via their RaceHub™ software, which also acts as your wheelbase’s home, allowing you to adjust the base and driving experience to your exact preferences. 

All Asetek SimSports® wheelbases have their own 'quick-release' that is as easy to use as changing gears - literally. To detach the wheel from the base, simply press a paddle and the wheel will be in your hands! This also means you are not dependent on wireless signals, batteries that need charging, or cables that can break or fall off. Everything is included in their easy and twist-free 'quick-release'.
